Delhi College of Engineering

DIT to NSIT
DIT was renamed NSIT, marking a major identity shift in Delhi's public technical education landscape.
DIT to NSIT to NSUT
Delhi Institute of Technology (1983) evolved into NSIT and was upgraded to NSUT in 2018, emerging from the same DU Faculty of Technology lineage.
DCE to DTU
Delhi College of Engineering, historically connected to the DU Faculty of Technology framework, was reconstituted as Delhi Technological University.
